The young Israeli designer Ira Rozhavsky has designed the lamp Fragile, but the fragility of the name is only a suggestion inspired design. On the contrary, the structure consists of tempered glass cracked, covered with silicone and translucent white LEDs that make it flexible, eclectic and elegantly light. Flessuosa and thin as a breed the lamp bends and suited to every surface, from the table the walls, creating structures out of the very bright potential.

The South African designer Ryan Frank works and lives in London but plans eco sustainable design that draws inspiration from its culture of origin. A good example of her style is represented by the new project Isabella. Inspired by the design of traditional African artefacts carved by hand, Isabella is a small stool made of compressed straw covered with colored felt in order to make more comfortable and lively during the proceedings.

Olivias Day is the small table modern design Winking eye to classical forms, designed by Australian designer Andrew Aliosio. Olivias Day, made his appearance at the Mostra The Edge, dedicated to commercial projects of 40 young designers during all’Australian International Furniture Fair 2008.

Portananos is an interesting project developed by the Spanish product designer Marc Sapetti. It is a cradle for children up to six months you can easily assemble and disassemble because formed by cardboard plates intersected with each other.

The material is obviously ultra strong, sustainable and eco very colorful in order to create a cradle from original and vivid hues. And Portananos move will be a snap: just because the cradle disassemble and store the individual elements in practice bag that came.

A table invisible? The effect had from “Paint Or Die But Love Me” designed by the young French designer John Nouanesing is just that.

The feeling that you watching this table is it has been paid over a jar of liquid color and that at some point has blocked the image, with drops suspended and others that are still forming. An excellent optical effect that, despite appearances, still allows the table to give stability and strength.

Lull is the intelligent lamp designed by young designers Marianne Parmo, Audun Kolistad and Heidi Buene, who has won the Young Talent Award during the Norwegian Design Council 2008. Designed with the advice of Dr.Staalle Pallesen, specializing in problems of sleep, like a flower, thanks to the use of a particular mechanism adjustable, the corolla of petals that characterizes the structure opens in the morning and closes in the evening, changing the brightness according to the cycle of sleep-wake. A project intelligent, funny but above all functional as perfectly suited to our needs, practical, emotional, aesthetic and ‘healthy.

Probably inspired by the prospect of a near future which will provide much more attention to stock water, the young product designer Polish Maja Ganszyniec participated with his Plugless sink at the Royal College of Art Summer 2008 Graduate Show.

Plugless sink is a project that simple, catching the idea of old catini for water, consists of a sink hole without exhaust with convenient handle for emptying, which takes place in an exhaust pipe place behind a surface d ‘ support functional and eclectic. One solution challenging and impractical for those not afferrano the purpose of discouraging today, a reckless and indiscriminate use of water.
