The Modern Architecture Pop-Up Book, Designer ,Books, sights, Companies, IllustrationFrom the fantasy of pop-up engineer and illustrator Bulgarian Anton Radevsky gave rise to fantastic architecture pop-up book The Modern Architecture Pop-Up Book. The volume 3D is a small masterpiece of design that speaks of Modern architecture, accompanied by illustrations, photographs, contributions from major architects and meticulous pop-up models that reproduce some of the most emblematic buildings, the Eiffel Tower to the Brooklyn Bridge, until Guggenheim Bilbao and the Milwaukee Art Museum. The publication edited by Rizzoli, is scheduled for next October.

Since 1963, the Czech city of Brno attracts professionals and graphics enthusiasts who come from all over the world to attend the Biennale. Until October 19, the 23rd International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno 2008, dedicated to graphic design, illustration and typography publishing of books, magazines, newspapers and digital media, promotes numerous events and symposia, especially the long-awaited Grand Prix 2008 the competition for graphics professionals, which in this edition includes more than 600 projects, submitted by 162 artists from over 27 countries. Jobs that at the end of the Biennale will join the Graphic Design Collection of the Moravian Gallery, while the winner of this edition, Kasia Korczak exhibit in a staff at the Biennale 2012.

After a childhood, widely shared, based on Japanese cartoons, movies and games dell’orrore ‘lively ex-Canadian kids Gary Lachance, Chris Noble and Mike Comeau, have collected their drawings sanguinolenti made during the school years in Death Pits, a book published by TV Books in New York. Death Pits is an exact reproduction of a notebook shared by three boys of the first media around the early 80s, which have collected 33 well drawings full page of places of torture super complicated, played with wax crayons and colored pencils, on the back of notes of lessons and tasks at home.

There is even a detailed list of ideas for the torture written in pencil, and as a macabre filastrocca reads: Cup of tea boiling Mollette laundry Squeeze ghiaccioli Freezing-tank full of lava rake Stuzzicadenti Mazza Pencils Pickaxe Knives Pale helicopter Stelline Ninja of Stapling Compass beer Forca gardening Roll compressor steam Wheels tank Temperamatite Oven machine sewing Meat Grinder Puntine drawing Darts, with a bell Raising of bees marked the end with the red pen. A unique book that shows the adolescent catharsis, when each of us developing imaginative ways to redress the injustices daily.
