Tuesday, July 1, 2008, under the Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass Exhibition to be held in Turin, the designer Tobia Scarpa held an interesting lesson on the role and significance that takes the glass in his vision of design.

During the event the same Scarpa also reward the winner of Glass Competition that has selected the best projects of young Italian designers and had as its theme the reworking of glass Martini.

For the occasion will also present the evocative elements of Tape Collection, designed by Scarpa for Andromeda and Gianluca Vecchi, chairman of the company, will outline paths and outcomes that led the designer to the realization of the collection entirely made of glass. The live Lecture will take place at 18 at the Art Gallery dell’AB + Club of Turin, Via Cesare Augusto 1, while 19 will take place at the award ceremony of the competition that will conclude with a Cocktail Party.
