The design and ironic E & Y
E & Y is a company with headquarters in Tokyo which proposes additions and accessories marked by a minimalist design, linear and rigorous, but that fits easily and with grace to any contemporary living environment.
Among the proposals for E & Y are, for example, “Oblique” a vase designed by Gen Suzuki and reminiscent of the urban landscapes represented in abstract painting: its cubic structure is distorted as if they osservasse the jar from a surreal perspective. And then can not miss meetings, including Clear Chair designed by Mårten Claesson: made entirely of wood, this chair has a geometric shape that contrasts with the soft lines of the back.
Very nice also “4FB” which refers to the composition dell’appendiabiti: 4 bars flat, united in square, which are bent on the bottom and top, thus creating the basis and support for hanging clothes and hats, and Dalton Brothers, a family mirrors, three different sizes, each placed on two feet and backed against the wall.
