Designer Surf

The Belgian group Materialise.MGX leader in imaging and simulation, began to manufacture fast tailor, opened with an exhibition presented at Zona Tortona during the Salone del Mobile 2008. The same Fractal Table, presented on this occasion, could not produce without recourse to the proceedings in question.

Fractal Table, developed by Platform Wertel Oberfell together with Matthias Bar, mimics the growth patterns of fractals in nature and developed a manufacturing process fast, allows him to develop the structure branched of the many feet that are intertwined and aggrovigliano up to be the modelled surface of the table.

A table certainly inconvenient to manage, which has the honour to explore the infinite potential of this technique, capable of shaping the design more audacious and unlikely.
